Who knows?Īnyway, you have a different and even better reason for buying your Ford machine. It might have been that fateful day which started my fascination with the Ford gumball machines, maybe with gumball machines in general. I had to have gum from a different machine because the one I wanted cost a dime and the other one was just a penny. For some reason I remember as a kid my mother buying my little brother and me some gum from a machine one day and I wanted gum from the round machine (Ford) and my mom wouldn't let me. I also have two Hart machines which are very similar. Several months ago I got the bug, started looking at gumball machines on Ebay and talked my wife into getting me a Ford gumball machine for my birthday. I was thinking of a Ford, but didn't know much about them. I bought a gumball machine (different brand) from a friend a few years ago and for the longest time I kept thinking I want one of those shiny ones with the round glass globe.
